06 / Preparation, or integration
Before the threshold.
After the return.
Sound to settle you and clear the way before a ritual or ceremony. And sound to hold the quiet afterwards, so the experience has time to sink in before the mind starts filing it away.

Before
Preparation.
Arrive grounded and clear. The sound quiets the noise first, so your intention has room to settle before you cross into the ritual itself.
After
Integration.
Right after the most intense part of an experience there’s a window that matters more than almost anything: a pause where nothing new comes in, and what already happened has time to land.
Integration goes on long after one session. But its deepest layer happens first, beneath thought. Sound can keep the busy mind at rest through that window for a long while, giving it all a chance to settle in fully, all the way down. Skip that pause, and much of the meaning can slip away.
